What’s New with V2.1?
Version 2.1 has an improved interface, better stability, and better video quality. Video import is NOW WORKING!
When Installing Version 2.1
- After downloading the license key from the website, make sure to put the key in a file that will not move on your hard drive. Do Not Delete the License Key
- Although not necessary, it is best to restart your computer after installing any application.
Helpful Tips on Using Version 2.1
Import Function:
Please Note: If your import function does not work, use iMovie to import video then load videos into SwingLoft from the open file function.
Opening a Movie:
1. Click on the ‘Open File’ icon. ![]()
2. Select your imported or saved video file from the finder window.![]()
To open multiple movies:
1. Select the multiple window icon.![]()
2. Highlight the empty window
3. Click on the ‘Open File’ icon to load in another movie.
Viewing the Movie:
- When using multiple frames, the top of the frame must be highlighted in order to work on that video.

- If the aspect ratio is skewed: use ‘Best View Movie’ under the ‘Edit’ tab.

Using the Drawing Tools:
Please note: a movie must be open in order to use these tools.
- Line tool: click and hold down the mouse while you draw a line to the desired position.
- Draw as many lines as you want on the video.
- Circle tool: click and hold down the mouse. Start from the top left side where you want to position the circle.
- Square tool: click and hold down the mouse. Start from the top left side where you want to position the circle.
- A movie must be open in order to use these tools
- Move tool (hand icon): select the hand tool and double click on the object you want to move. Release the mouse and you can drag the object anywhere on the video. Click once to place the object.
- Color tool: select the color icon and choose the appropriate color.
- Note: color selector only works for ALL the drawing tools; objects on the same video can not be different colors.
- Angle tool: Click and hold down while dragging to the center angle point. Click again and hold down to see the second half of the angle. The angle will be displayed at the center of the two lines.
Exporting Video:
Please Note: SwingLoft does not export drawing lines on the video. It will only export video (with or without the audio).
- To export a video, click on the ‘Export icon’
- Select the movie that you are looking for from the finder. If you want to export a movie that you have been working on in SwingLoft – save that file first.
- Select the file format to export to (iPod is compatible with MP4 format).
- For higher quality video on an MPEG4 – select “Options” and change “File Format” to MP4. Then choose H.264 from the “Video Format” drop down box.
- Click export and the file will be saved to your desktop.
